Spring 2026

What’s New

¡Hola Mujeres Latinas!

As the founder and CEO of MujeresLatinas.com, I’m here to create a space where the everyday mujer is seen, celebrated, and empowered in her journey.

As this season of “new” unfolds, my memoir continues to make its way into the world. It was written for the mujeres who have faced life with courage and grit, and for those still learning how, like me. Within its pages are stories that invite you to trust your strength and step into 2026 owning your story.

Strength doesn't always arrive loudly. Sometimes it can appear quietly one step at a time. The new year doesn’t erase the past. Every story, lesson, and moment moves with us. Take a moment to honor how far you’ve come before rushing toward what’s next... let January settle in. 🙂

Here’s to 2026 and new possibilities! Wishing you an inspired start to January.

Peace is Love. Love is Peace.

- Adela

Meet Professor Cristina M. Rodríguez
Trailblazing at Yale University

On February 1, 2026, she will become the second woman to serve as dean of the prestigious institution. She is also the first tenured Hispanic law professor at Yale, a milestone that reflects her remarkable career in law, academia, and public service.

A native of San Antonio, Rodríguez has spent more than 25 years making an impact in law and public service. She studies and writes about how governments work, the rules that guide our courts, and U.S. immigration policy. She has also held leadership roles in both universities and government, including serving as deputy assistant attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Rodríguez’s work is about more than recognition, it’s about impact. She has spent her career teaching and guiding students, shaping important decisions through her leadership in government and at Yale, and earning a reputation for fairness, courage, and integrity.

As she steps into the deanship, Rodríguez is a powerful example for Latinas: breaking barriers and creating space at the top. Read full press release here.
