CULTURE

A table with many different items on it

Latino culture is notably rich due to its evolution through centuries. It’s our indigenous roots with Spanish influences as well as the assimilation of African, European, Asian, and Arab people with their culture who were brought or arrived in the western hemisphere, and now make up the various blend of Latinos across the Americas. We may identify ourselves in various ways but with 20 Latin American countries, the population brings us together through various forms as language, food, folklore, and our worship of the sun, moon, and the stars. It’s the flavors, the scents, the music, the religion, the rituals, and the lively colors – it’s the sea, the rivers, the jungle and deserts and mountains and great plains.

Help us bring a bit of your country here to share with our community. Send us stories, recipes, songs, poetry and share your art here with us. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you here at MujeresLatinas.com. We Welcome You!

According to data.worldbank.org (6/2022) this is the female population in the millions from 19 Latin American countries in 2021. In the USA the Latina/Hispanic population is over 32 million.
